About - The Security Detail
For years, whenever a serious digital risk surfaced — especially something affecting Apple devices — I found myself repeating the same routine: texts, emails, WhatsApps, even phone calls to friends and family. Sharing what mattered, explaining why it was important, and helping people take action.
Each time, it was time-consuming. And each time, someone would ask, “Can I forward this to others?”
That’s why I started this newsletter. It’s a simpler way to share important updates — clearly, calmly, and publicly — so anyone can stay informed and pass it along.
What This Is
A plain-English newsletter about real digital risks, especially for Apple users.
No geek speak. No panic. Just clear, actionable updates when something actually matters.
I won’t cover everything as I expect that you will keep your Apple Devices up-to-date, always. This newsletter only covers the rare threats that aren’t fully patched, still leave us exposed, or need extra steps. You might not hear from me for weeks. But when you do, it’s because I believe you should take a moment to pay attention.
What This Isn’t
This isn’t a full-time security blog. I won’t cover every update, vulnerability, or CVE.
This also isn’t professional cybersecurity advice — just my best effort to flag the stuff I’d want my own circle to know.
